What is Popupblocker?
Popupblocker is an add-on for your browser which can block new windows and tabs. Many websites open new windows with ads, when you try to mark text or click something. This add-on will block these and show a small notification.
How does it work?
You can add pages to a blacklist or whitelist.
Pages on the blacklist can not open any tab or window.
Pages on the whitelist can always open new tabs and windows.
You can also use the "Smart" option.
The "Smart" option has an intelligent algorithm to detect unwanted tabs.
With "Smart" you don't have to create a list, because it does block most attempts to open unwanted pages.
